I really wish the weather would just warm up already. Today work was an average Thursday, and after work I went tanning with my BFF! I forgot what strange experience it is to go tanning- all the lights and noises and heat and lotions, yikes! The one and only other period of time I went tanning in my life was for Senior prom, so long ago. We went out to eat after our ultra violet experience and ate so much delicious food we both left with belly aches.
I've come to realize that we live in a really really small world.

This is what I wore to work, ceramics class, Olive Garden and Walmart. Work was fine- there was a tornado warning in Jacksonville Florida, and I kept busy the whole time I was there. In ceramics I didn't make anything, I just glazed all the stuff that I'd made before. At Olive Garden I experienced the worst waiter of my life, and then at Walmart I got a few cheap items. Success on a Wednesday!

I hate days that you put on one outfit, and then minutes before you have to walk out the door you realize that you have to totally change your outfit and you can't go where you were planning on going wearing what you were planning on wearing. Today was one of those days.
At work I discussed topics such as facebook, sharks, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the weather and softball. After work I had another quiet evening just enjoying being me.
The pictures above are a few necklaces I've made recently, figurines in my brother's and in my room, and a chiminea in my backyard that I haven't even had the pleasure of enjoying yet.
I've been looking at my plants a lot, and I'm sort of getting to know them- they are pretty cool. In watching them all I'm learning things about them and noticing when they need tending to. They make my environment feel like a calmer more lively place. Nice.

A while ago I bought a plant at Home Depot, and this weekend I decided to repot it. It's a neat type of succulent. With what Home Depot decided was one plant, I was able to get many many smaller plants. I made a succulent terrarium, and repotted my plant in many smaller pots. Also, while at Home Depot I looked at their plants for loose leaves and ends. I filled my pocket with tiny little pieces of plants and stuck them in a dish together- I can't wait to see if they grow into anything! The rock that I placed in the dish with the small plant parts I found in the creek behind my house. It's quite an unusual rock.
Today, I had a quiet day at work then spent the evening producing jewelry and enjoying being alone in my bedroom- I forgot how nice it can be to just be yourself by yourself. The best part of my day was when the Polish cleaning ladies at work brought me two slices from two different kinds of home made Polish cake! Delicious!

The weather was really too cold today, but I spent the majority of my time outdoors anyway. Just like every other Sunday, after church I went to Columbus flea market. The only thing I got was the flower ring pictured above (I forgot to put on any rings before I left my house this morning but luckily I found a cool ring at the flea market). After the flea market I had vegan brunch with my BFF, then another trip to the museum downtown. It's so close to home! So much inspiration! I still feel like I haven't seen all there is to see. It always seems as if the museum is closing and I have to leave before I get to see it all. There was still plenty of sunshine after the museum closed, so I saw what else downtown Trenton had to offer, and I spent my late afternoon touring the city on foot. As you can see, it's actually a really really neat place. Finally the evening ended with plant repotting and succulent terrarium making. Another Super Sunday.
