Saturday- the day before the storm. I woke up early and prepared all day for a monster storm. Food shopping, errands, bolting down the hatches, ect. Lots of commotion at my house during the afternoon, followed by an evening driving through the start of the storm only to find that every place was closed even though the conditions weren't so bad. I watched the storm from my house and went to bed disappointed with the weather. I saw some heavy rain and one downed tree, but the hype was much greater than what we actually got.

Friday was a wonderful day. Work was work, but after work I went to New Brunswick with Graham to care for his plants and prepare for the hurricane. We went out with a couple friends for burritos but a language barrier made the experience unusual. We listened to prank phone calls and laughed and laughed. TGIF.

Hooray Thursday already! I woke up with enough time to leave my house just as heavy rain was starting and buy a bunch of bagels before work. Work was full of hurricane research, and after work I ran errands with my dad and Graham.

Wednesday there were issues at work, but nothing that was too big of a deal. I had another dinner of perogies with Graham, and then we went to Salvation Army and a Fish Store with my dad. We spent the rest of the night at home, enjoying the summer weather on the porch.

Tuesday was a fine day at work. I finally met one of the couriers that I talk to on the phone on a daily basis in real life. After work I had perogies for dinner with Graham, then we went out for a couple beers before coming home to hang out with my brother and a bunch of his friends.

Monday was an early work day. After work I went to Walmart for a hair straightener, and Petsmart for fish food, then met up with my friend/coworker for a couple beers. Then I came home with Graham and we enjoyed the summer night on my front porch just like any other night.

Sunday was another mostly rainy day. After church and Columbus, I went with Graham to a couple different plant places and ran some other errands. We got some neat flower pots. In the evening, we went out with some of Graham's family for pizza and ice cream.
