All the Freaks come out on Saturdays

Photobucket

What a productive Saturday! I woke up and cleaned my fish and turtle tanks, did many many loads of laundry, and went shopping.

Joann's in Oxford Valley had a huge sale going on, I got so many fabulous beads for cheap. Then I headed to Michael's and got lots of different chain. I'm excited to make things!

Every store was very crowded, and there were long lines in every store.

OH! I forgot to mention, yesterday I had a phone interview, and I ended up getting the job I had applied for! It's part time (I'm currently working full time and I hate it, no time to myself or to do anything aside from eat sleep work) so I can spend my mornings making jewelry, and blogging. I CAN'T WAIT! I start on Wednesday! I'll be working afternoons Monday through Friday, and part of my shift will overlap with a very close friend.

Finally, something to look forward to in this long cold depressing winter!

What a Weird Wednesday

Today was the first time in a long time that when I woke up and looked out the window, I was surprised to find that everything was covered in snow!!!!! Unfortunately, my work was still open so I had to make the journey in. Minutes after arriving, all of the supervisors decided that employees could leave when they wanted due to the snow and bad road conditions. I worked 1.5 hours then drove on home for a really nice day off.

I had a fun brunch out on the town, and made 4 necklaces today. Great day off in my opinion.

Welcome to the Wild Side.

Last night I went to yoga class for the first time ever with my best friend. I found I enjoyed it and was quite disappointed that I couldn't go again tonight. I felt so relaxed and prepared for today when I woke up this morning. A nice feeling.

I collect everything. I have too much stuff. These are some pictures I took in my bedroom.

Moody Monday

Photobucket

What a FREEZING morning! I woke up extra early to be ready and prepared for my interview, I don't think the temperature gauge on my car went above 13 degrees all morning! The river looked really crazy when I was driving along Rt. 29 this morning. The river was frozen solid and there were mountains of jagged ice rocks. Really wish I could've taken a picture.

My interview went well in my opinion, of course there's no way to know for sure until you hear officially. I hope I get the job!!!!!

Photobucket

I stopped at Michael's arts and crafts after my interview to pick up some cool chain so I can get started on making lots and lots of necklaces. I was there so early that hardly any one was shopping. It was like having the whole store to myself.

Photobucket

I plan on spending the rest of today relaxing, enjoying friends and family, and mentally preparing myself for a day back to work tomorrow.

Sleepy Sunday

Photobucket

Photobucket

What a cold day! What a day for naps and sleeping! I spent hours under my covers but can't seem to get warm today.

Last night I went to Salvation Army in search of extra warm clothing to get me through these cold days and nights coming up. I got a great gray sweater and a flannel shirt, but I was really hoping for extra warm and fuzzy pajama pants and even warmer sweaters. I really love the Salvation Army, I can find something new and great every time I go which is why my wardrobe is out of control.

Tomorrow morning I have a job interview for a part time thing. I don't want to give away too much in case it doesn't go well. Working full time isn't for me, I can't stand doing the same thing all day every day. I currently answer phone calls about the GRE from 8:30am til 5pm and I talk to a lot of dumb/really angry people. I don't want a job where parents call and yell and complain and young spoiled brats call demanding money/scores/service. I need a change to happier in life, a part time thing would be ideal as I really want a job in a creative field, and with the world the way it is currently, to some extent I have to make my own dream job.
I want to start blogging about fashion, and start making/selling my own jewelry. Here's a necklace I made a couple weeks ago:

So, future posts will include inspirational photographs, fashion information, and of course some every day real life updating. Here's to a fresh start!
