This Thursday the weather was ominous all morning. Finally it poured in the afternoon, but not for long. I spent my day tanning, working, gyming, eating, and relaxing. My outfit today reminds me of the outfits I used to wear during the summer when I was 5 years old. Bright colors and big accessories. Guess I'm still just a kid at heart.

Tuesday, after arriving home at 5:30 am, I had to wake up and go to work. Work was fine, followed by tanning, and a trip to Salvation Army with my dad (I bought TOO MUCH I spent 37.00 there). We bought scratch off lottery tickets on the way home, then I spent the rest of the evening relaxing and trying to catch up on my blog.

Monday we woke up at 3:30 am. We finally got on the road at 5 am. We stopped for breakfast lunch and dinner. Around 3 pm we started seeing signs for South of Border. The reason that we left at the time that we did, was so that we would get to South of the Border during operational hours (since they were closed at 4 am on our drive down to FL). We finally got to South of the Border just after 5 pm. We checked out firework stores and souvenir shops and even had dinner at a restaurant there. It was nearly 8 pm by the time we got back on the road. We got back to my house in New Jersey at 5:30 am. That was the longest car trip I've ever been on. I went to sleep as soon as I got home. All in all, a pretty fantastic family vacation.

On Easter Sunday we slept in a little bit. Then we had another family breakfast and decided to go to this Everglade's Garden place. They had animals that were a nuisance to the public and/or were once injured- kind of like a wildlife refuge type of place. You had to go on a guided tour of the place, but it was really cool. We saw lots of different animals, and cool plants. After that we went for a swim in my grandpa's pool and his neighbor and her 4 and a half year old daughter came over and joined us. After we cleaned up, we all went out for dinner together at a place called Real Seafood. I played the box game with the little one, and we all got dinners off the early bird special menu so we got free bottles of wine. What a place!
After dinner we spent the evening relaxing, starting to load up the car, and trying to get as much rest as possible before the long journey home the next morning.
