Saturday was finally a day of rest. I woke up and went out to eat as a double date with my girlfriend from high school followed by an afternoon of sitting around and resting my too full belly. Then I did some shopping and more eating with my dad and weekend guest. We had another fire to end the night and were joined by a surprise sleepover guest.

Friday was my brother's birthday. We are 6 years and a day apart. It's always nice because as soon as my birthday ends his begins, but in some ways it's still kind of my birthday on his day, and vice versa. It's just a two day celebration of fun friends and birthday cake. We got bagels before we went to the Camden Aquarium for the day. It was a lot of fun. After looking at a lot of fish, we went shopping at Cherry Hill Mall. Then we came home and went out to dinner again as a family followed by more friends fun fires and birthday cake.

Thursday was my birthday! I had a nice morning with my brother, then went to lunch with my mom and brother and BFF. After lunch we did some shopping. High heels really started to hurt my feet, and I ended up with blisters- I bought two pairs of slippers while I was shopping, I had comfort on my mind. My weekend guest arrived in the early evening, and then we all went out for dinner as a family. We came home for cake and more family visiting, and then had a fire and fireworks and friends over to end the night.

Wednesday was my Friday in terms of ending the work week. I stayed later than usual for a Wednesday at work, and then I met up with one lady, followed by another lady followed by two men. We traveled the city. The first location was crowded- there was a biker/trucker social going on and it was an unusual scene. The next place we went to was empty and quiet- where I spent the first few minutes of my birthday. The final place we ended at brought more friends into the crowd, and we had lots of fun and I officially turned 24 while we were there. I grabbed a bite to eat after the bar with my BFF and finally went home to get some rest before my real day of birth began.

Tuesday after trying to tie up loose ends at work I ended up meeting a girlfriend for a couple drinks and lots of gossip. We had a fun time, ate fries, and were spoken to in another language.

Monday was a typical 'get the expenses' done Monday, followed by a late evening adventure to a girlfriend's house. We chatted, watched TV, and had a great time.
