Sleepy Sunday

What a cold day! What a day for naps and sleeping! I spent hours under my covers but can't seem to get warm today.

Last night I went to Salvation Army in search of extra warm clothing to get me through these cold days and nights coming up. I got a great gray sweater and a flannel shirt, but I was really hoping for extra warm and fuzzy pajama pants and even warmer sweaters. I really love the Salvation Army, I can find something new and great every time I go which is why my wardrobe is out of control.

Tomorrow morning I have a job interview for a part time thing. I don't want to give away too much in case it doesn't go well. Working full time isn't for me, I can't stand doing the same thing all day every day. I currently answer phone calls about the GRE from 8:30am til 5pm and I talk to a lot of dumb/really angry people. I don't want a job where parents call and yell and complain and young spoiled brats call demanding money/scores/service. I need a change to happier in life, a part time thing would be ideal as I really want a job in a creative field, and with the world the way it is currently, to some extent I have to make my own dream job.
I want to start blogging about fashion, and start making/selling my own jewelry. Here's a necklace I made a couple weeks ago:

So, future posts will include inspirational photographs, fashion information, and of course some every day real life updating. Here's to a fresh start!

  1. I LOVE that necklace!
Have you tried Red White and Blue for sweaters? I bought a very nice one there yesterday.

  2. Oooh, I also like the necklace. I love chains, specially when there's more than one layer of chains. :D

  3. I LOVE red white and blue, but some times, they are too crowded, and have a strange way of pricing things. Plus since I've been working so much I haven't had the chance to get there as often as I'd like.
Glad you both like the necklace, I'm hoping to make lots of cool necklaces and then maybe sell them on etsy. I don't know, I've never actually sold anything before, so we'll see how this goes!
