Today was Monday. The weather was dark, dreary and wet. I decided on jeans because it was kind of warm out, and I've been wanting to wear these awesome shoes and that sweater vest for a while. I pick up pieces of clothing all the time, but some times I can't wear them right away because I just don't have the right outfit yet. So today I was able to wear two things I've had a while but haven't gotten to wear yet (I also just love the feeling of wearing something new).

Work was fun for a Monday, and I had a chance to run some errands and clean afterward.

I'm slowly re-organizing my room. I'm so tired of cluttered living spaces. Out with the old and in with the new!

Today I went to Columbus Fleamarket and got a take out container full of old broken/mismatched jewelry for 5.00! There were so many cool items in there, I can't wait to make new jewelry out of it. I spent my evening cleaning and creating. The most marvelous Sunday I've experienced in quite some time.

The last ring isn't mine, I bought it at a thrift store in NYC for my friend Stacey who was with me. What a neat art deco piece!

Yesterday I got up early for a Saturday, ran errands, caught a train to NYC, and then took 3 different Subway trains to get to my friend Stacey's apartment. We had a day full of bus rides, chatter, laughter, shopping, eating, drinking, and finished our evening at a Speakeasy. The atmosphere was too dark, and too similar to my own living room, but I had a blast. I wore my coat for most of the day so no one even really got to see my outfit.

I ended the night with tacos and beer and more laughter. What a fantastic Saturday!

Lots of pictures today. I had new employee orientation at work, and had a few minutes to snap some photos of the entryway in the main building of the company I work for. Really a neat pretty place. After work I picked up my new glasses- they're a little silly, but I love them. I can't stand frames where if you look slightly up or down, everything is blurry. I'm used to having constant clear vision in my contacts so I needed glasses big enough to cover my whole face so everywhere I look I can see clearly. I haven't gotten new glasses since I was 16- my last glasses and prescription were 7 years old! I couldn't even see out of them anymore. This week has flown by, I actually feel like I haven't had enough time to get anything done. I need a day of productivity/cleaning soon!

A wonderful Wednesday- after work I met my mother with my brother at the mall and got a pair of really neat new eyeglasses. I am really excited about them, I can't wait to pick them up! Family fun filled evening.

What a long stressful emotional day. Work was totally freezing and I had cold sweats all day. Tomorrow is a good day to start over, and stay positive. I feel like a tiny guppy in this ocean of life. The time to be selfish and think about ME is now.

Out with the old and in with the new is my new motto. Girls just wanna have fun!

Today I did typical Sunday things, but today was anything but typical.

Church, the freezing cold fleamarket, goof around all afternoon with my brother, went to my other house to check on things (we stopped to buy a toilet on the way for the other house as it needs a new one), then a delicious veggie burger/gyro from a classic south jersey diner.

Finishing the weekend by painting my nails, and being frustrated that there isn't anything worth watching on TV. This cold weather that's creeping in and supposed to bring SNOW better cut it out and go away.
