It was supposed to rain so bad that it was going to flood. It rained, but not that bad. I'm running out of time to get everything done for the party. So little time! Tonight after doing some food and drink shopping with my dad for the party, we took a trip to the thrift store. I got two cool hair barrettes (pictured above) for 79 cents each. I was going to buy a 3rd one, but a lady snatched it up for her daughter who is having 80's theme day at school tomorrow. Oh well, good for her. I want to make necklaces out of them. They are totally fabulous.

While cleaning my room, I came across this teacup. I was racking my brain for ideas of what to use it for, when I came up with the idea to put a cactus or succulent inside it. I bought a cactus at Home Depot last night, and I think it looks really neat in the teacup. Such a tiny sharp mean cactus inside a delicate porcelain cup. Cute!
